Mr. Rasor enjoys diverse and extensive career accomplishments, including public service and entrepreneurial business pursuits:
- Elected to the Royal Oak City Commission on November 3, 2009 by the Voters of the City of Royal Oak. The Commission is the legislative body for the City of Royal Oak, a municipality which is a dynamic balance of progressive vision and traditional values located at the crossroads of the metropolitan region. Worked closely with staff and colleges to manage personnel, budget, real estate, litigation and progress of this vibrant municipality.
- Appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Royal Oak from 2005-2009. Appointed by the City Commission in recognition of expertise in land use, planning, zoning and regulation. Brought extensive legal background in real estate law to bear on land use, planning, zoning and regulatory issues for the benefit of the City of Royal Oak.
- Created, managed and grew the Rasor Law Firm, a successful general practice law firm with an emphasis on evaluation, management and resolution of the diverse portfolio of legal matters and management of expert team of lawyers and staff. 1994-present.
- Appointed by Judges and Litigants to resolve disputes as Neutral Arbitrator and Facilitator. 2002-Present.
- Created, marketed and counseled Assured Legal Support Corporation, a successful business providing litigation support services to area lawyers from1990-2002
- Elected by Alumnus to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Beta Tau Alumni Corporation after service as Chief Financial Officer of Corporation owning Beta Theta Pi Fraternity at Michigan State University. 2000-2007.
- Elected by Downtown Royal Oak Business Community to serve on Downtown Royal Oak Association, a Board charged with promotion of Downtown Royal Oak business from 1998-2000.
- Elected President by Members of Main Street Pride Resident's Association, Royal Oak, 2000-2002
